Jan 6th 2011 8:33AM @KeegdnaB I think its going to be the case that two OS interfaces will likely be MS's move.( http://www.winrumors.com/new-windows-8-rumors-confirm-dual-user-interface/)Which would make sense to me, cater to the hardware enthusiasts who configures his PC hardware and OS interface. While leaving mom and pop on a simpler unified interface ala IOS and Android OS.Also making much more flexible for tablet interfacing environments.I'm kind of glad that we will be seeing much more continuity from MS across all hardware.Windows Phone 7 was very impressive too. Although, for some reason... DS has not posted anything regarding that segment. You'd think, considering they post just about every little fart Google makes outside of CES
Jun 29th 2010 10:10AM This might be exactly what I've been looking for! I prefer using a dedicated app over a browser any day. Google Chrome might want to be a application platform but that doesn't mean its any good at it.Until Chrome efficiently uses high end hardware to its full potential it will always be best suited for Netbooks, Tablets and low end rigs.
Jun 4th 2010 11:55AM I love to try it out!
May 17th 2010 10:20AM I made the move today as well, all is deactivated. Download Squad should make an article on Facebook alternatives ;-)
May 11th 2010 10:59AM Its just a question a choice in the end. More constructively it would be best to have one with the option of having all additional Google or Microsoft software omitted at the user's request upon purchase. However to claim MS is bullying its way and claim it strange behavior... Last I checked Google is king when it comes to this type of behavior, you really think with its cloud based system you will have more choice as a consumer in the future? really?I don't condone the behavior although it doesn't affect me personally. However all companies including Google are irresponsible when it comes to these practices.
May 11th 2010 10:03AM There's this little button called uninstall DS... I don't see any bitching articles on Google Chrome being included in DIVX software...You guys need to tone down on the MS hate, its starting to look like fox news in here.
Dec 4th 2009 8:18AM Woohoo! free pirate swag.
Sep 12th 2009 7:55PM Itunes not properly integrated into Windows 7!?Isn't that a good thing? considering its not properly done on existing Windows platform. I mean other than uploading music to your device, I can't imagine anyone actually using for, gasp, playing music...Whith so many choices and much better players out there for Windows who would even care about Itunes. IE: Winamp, Songbird, Musicmonkey and hey even WMP has made some significant advances in Win7.I have Itunes installed on a old pc, so I can avoid having multiple processes installed and peace of mind I don't have Apple messing around with my system.Where all getting Zune HD's anyway right? :-P
