New undelete feature cool, but suggestions need work (PVR Wire)

Indeed it is, though I don't follow that particular team. Thanks for clarifying the subject matter.

Top TV shows feeling effect of Nielsen's PVR ratings (PVR Wire)
Mar 5th 2006 6:13PM True, but not everyone fast forwards through the commercials. Or they forget they're watching a recorded program and treat the viewing like it's live, commercials and all.
I suspect some compromise will be reached within the next couple years where only 50% or so of those PVR numbers are actually counted in the ratings.
FeedLounge is Ajaxian answer to desktop RSS readers (The RSS Weblog)
Jan 28th 2006 6:29PM Thanks, Alex. (For those who don't know, Alex is behind FeedLounge and another tasks-oriented Web 2.0 service.) But couldn't your partner just as easily told me that when he replied to my e-mail? Instead, he said this:
"You would be suprised at how many feeds are not valid. By telling the user, we are hoping that one of the users knows the feed creator, and can help to fix the situation for the entire blogosphere.
"You are welcome to post a list of urls in the forums that you believe are valid, but incorrectly marked as invalid. Please check them at
http://feedvalidator.org first."
He appeared more interested in getting subscribers to act as RSS feed validator cops than providing me with the short answer you did.
Instant backup software for 99 cents (Download Squad)
Dec 14th 2005 3:02PM Admittedly, it's not a full-featured program. But it is only 99 cents. PC World magazine gave it a horrible review, before the 99-cent deal was out. But so far it has done what I expected it to do on my machine.
Cablevision supports `a la carte' programming (PVR Wire)
Dec 2nd 2005 11:33AM Robert, I'm curious why you'd be willing to pay more for a la carte pricing? Who knows -- you might want to watch a channel some day that's part of a bundle you have.
Are people really uploading to Rent My DVR? (PVR Wire)
Oct 28th 2005 4:46PM No, I didn't notice if I was doing any hidden uploads during my downloads. I pretty much set up the download client and forgot about the whole thing. I'm not going to make any accusations, but so far I haven't made any money from uploading TV shows (as though I'd get rich at 20 Euro cents a pop anyway!).
Galleon 1.5 released (PVR Wire)
Sep 23rd 2005 8:45PM Thanks for your comment. Indeed, a packaged version is now available for the Mac. I downloaded and installed it, and hope to review it soon. If anyone else has used any versions of the program, I'd like to hear your reactions to it. Do you regularly use Galleon to enhance your TiVo viewing experience?
Mac-TiVo mystery solved (PVR Wire)
Sep 21st 2005 6:49PM I don't know. Maybe someone else does?
TiVo's for as low as a penny (PVR Wire)
Sep 20th 2005 3:54PM You're right, DigitalStupor. We'll try to increase our coverage of ReplayTV. It's difficult because I don't have access to one. But that doesn't mean we can't write about special deals and similar items. I gave you a star for your comment. :)
