With wifi available in McDonalds and Starbucks for free now it's a good time to get a iPod Touch over a iPhone if you don't use it as a phone much and want to save money.

No, China would not do this. Why? Because they're getting filthy rich off manufacturing. So why would they risk all that cash just so they could install some backdoor program, for what? So they can hack our Twitter accounts? So they can prevent us from typing "Dalai Lama" on our computers?

Also why the heck did you lump Taiwan with China? Not sure you noticed but Taiwan is a US ally.

Aug 16th 2009 10:07PM Hey Jay, great column. "Euphoric pride" is definitley a accurate description of what all South Koreans felt. It was a embarassment of riches for me today, the fact that a South Korean won, that somebody finally beat Woods, how it shocked all those arrogant fans who though it was all locked up and Tiger was just stringing another poor sap along until he would slam the door. Little did we know the tables had turned and it was Tiger who would be the poor sap this time.
