You can build one yourself for that much, with the advantage of being easily expandable in the future. It's well worth the cash if you look at what it offers

Everyone should have at least two, even if the "backup" machine is some kind of Pentium 3 running Windows 2000. It's good enough to google stuff with.
Of course, 2.5 computers per capita is always the bets solution

Unfortunately, that seems to be the trend with desktop graphics these days. Maybe next year we'll see cards that require THREE six-pin connectors...
