Dec 10th 2007 6:39PM Hmm. I run Vista ultimate with AVG Free and it boots faster than my XP machine and faster than any other machine I have or have had. That being said, I'm so happy with it, I don't want to mess with it so this is not a helpful comment!

Just to say I am always interested in the Vista boot-up moans because I have five machines, one with Vista, and it's always that one I switch on if I need a quick on.
