Feb 19th 2009 8:30PM Tenris Murkblood.... not because he was particularly hard for most people who were downing him but because if you were actually geared for entry level Kara he was so much harder than the rest of the raid.

Dec 11th 2008 11:46PM A little off topic but, can we please get some consistency in phrasing when you talk about increases and decreases.... all the mixing up of decreased from 20% to 40% or to20% from 40% makes it all that much harder to follow.
Nov 21st 2007 6:51PM As a road safety engineer working for one of the state governments in Australia I can tell you that these things are great but expensive. Astucia (and other companies) make a variety of Internally Illuminated Pavement Markers some are solar powered, some are hardwired. and some use this weird induction thing so that essentially they pump heaps of electricty in wires under the road surface and let the markers run off induction coils. The hard wired ones are about the size of a spindle of CDs/DVDs at sit almost flush with the surface (4mm or less) so they can be ploughed etc. the solar powered ones ususally sit on the pavement surface and interestingly only take about 3 hours of sun to have enough power for about 10 days.... so yes they can even be used in the UK.Also being LEDs they power requirements are quite low (perhaps not as low as some of the sodium globes used in street lighting on a lumens per watt basis but still low) and since they are focused and use as a direct light source instead of an indrect one you get pretty good value in terms of maintenance dollars.
