SiteLauncher for Chrome lets you jump to sites using a single keystroke (Download Squad)
Nov 27th 2010 11:38AM Hey Erez,
Thanks for writing about SiteLauncher and seeing its potential despite the current limitations; and thank you Lee also for featuring the Firefox version back in 2008.
You're spot-on about the reason for the limitations - ideally we'd like the hotkey to work all the time regardless of the page's loading state and if the address bar has focus, but Chrome's API just doesn't allow for this currently - hoping this will change as the API matures.
Thanks again :)
Regards,
David

SiteLauncher adds a hotkey panel with visuals to Firefox (Download Squad)
Dec 28th 2008 12:32PM Many thanks for featuring SiteLauncher.
For anyone using the Delicious add-on, you can change the key associated with the Shortcut This Page feature by changing the value of extensions.sitelauncher.shortcutThisPage.key in about:config, and then restarting Firefox.
If you don't know what about:config is, an explanation of using it can be found at http://www.mozillazine.org/misc/about:config/
Hope that helps.
