Indaba Music launches online digital audio editing tools (Download Squad)
Jul 9th 2009 9:31AM I love online collaboration, but I'm not a fan of online mixing tools. The Indaba Session Console is neat, flashy, and pretty, but it just does not compare to my desktop DAWs like Pro Tools, Logic, or even Garageband. Would would I want to use this and lose massive functionality I already have?
Kompoz.com takes a totally different approach, encouraging members to use their desktop tools to do the mixing and mastering, then publish tracks to Kompoz for sharing. It's a more natural model, IMHO.
