Mechwarrior 4 free on BattleTech.com 'soon' (Joystiq)
Aug 24th 2009 11:50AM Any day now... I'm actually actively monitoring their progress and have made articles about it. One of these ---- http://imbacore.blogspot.com/2009/08/update-battletech-mechwarrior-4.html --- shows links to MekTek's development updates (how many mechs added, overhaul of their MekMatch multiplayer shooter system, etc). I've also thrown in my review of a demo version of MechWarrior 4: Mercenaries for good measure. ^_^

25 awesome Cross-platform games you can download for free (Download Squad)
Jul 8th 2009 8:44PM It's still a WIP but there's this cross-platform game that's made in the spirit of X-Com. It's called UFO: AI. For more information click here: http://imbacore.blogspot.com/2009/05/freeware-strategy-games-update-ufo-ai_07.html
Please take note that the devs working on this game have no plans of recreating X-Com. This is purely a different game as far as plot and graphic design are concerned. And yes, it's in 3D.
