CCP releases EVE Online planetary interaction video tutorial (Massively)

Apr 6th 2011 1:51PM @Loopy You can't train for PI on a trial account but with a paid account you can start training PI skills pretty much immediately. I've just worked it out and you could get all the PI skills to level 4 in 21 days with a brand new character.

Report: iPad infiltrating enterprise IT (TUAW.com)

Oct 28th 2010 2:19PM I'm seeing more and more turn up especially in a lot of meetings I have with management type... sold quite a few too based on people seeing me use mine!

Email, web and the combination of DocsToGo/Dropbox are some of the top selling points. A PDF library of documentation on the go is hugely useful too.

Five freaking awesome FaceTime hacks -- and a few handy tips (TUAW.com)

Aug 7th 2010 4:44AM Great tip!

There are plenty of other carriers around the world than AT&T. I'm in the UK and you can buy the iPhone 4 unlocked or via pretty much all the carriers here (the top 4 at least)

Dropbox + text editing = Droptext (TUAW.com)

Jul 12th 2010 3:35AM Bought it anyway and you can indeed create new files! Nice one, it's quick and easy and will definitely be used daily by me now.

Dropbox + text editing = Droptext (TUAW.com)

Jul 12th 2010 2:23AM You can't save back to Dropbox from Pages unfortunately :(

I bought Documents to Go Premium for that facility alone, it's so handy on the go especially as I use a shared "Work" folder in my dropbox with a colleague to make sure we always have the same documentation on the go.

Does anyone know if this can create new text files? Documents to Go will let you create new files but only Word, Excel and Powerpoint files - being able to create a TXT file would be handy.

Better put my link too I guess.. extra 250mb storage to use both if you use this : https://www.dropbox.com/referrals/NTIzMDE4Njk

Oh another useful tool for dropbox is GFI Backup Home Edition (http://www.gfi.com/backup-hm) I use it to backup stuff automatically to my dropbox over night.

Will Windows 7 boot faster than Vista? Don't bet on it (Download Squad)

Oct 11th 2009 11:12AM Have to agree with the rest here. I'm running 7 Professional on my main workstation, my media centre and my netbook and all 3 of them boot noticeably faster than they did with Vista.
