Jan 31st 2012 12:32AM I've been listening to the soundtrack non-stop. Between that and this post here I have to get back the copy of RDR I loaned to my buddy and play finish off the zombie missions.Stupid zombie horse....
Jan 25th 2012 4:20PM I think it comes down to how much we played these games and how much of an impact that had on us as well as how young we were. I can easily get the Mass Effect main intro theme stuck in my head, although I can't often think of other songs from there until I hear them. These songs in games like Mario and such were played on a repeat. Repeat. Repeat. That same theme would play through the whole level (and possibly other levels). How could it NOT be memorised into your brain? I agree that those soundtracks are very very well made. However, I would argue that for each of those soundtracks that are amazing there are many contemporary soundtracks that are equally as good. And for all of the contemporary soundtracks that we can't remember there are an equal amount of old school games like "The Jetsons: Cogswell's Caper!" and "Romance of the Three Kingdoms II" that are not as memorable.
Jan 22nd 2012 12:43PM Good! Not that I want the programmers to be out of work. I'm mostly glad because it might show other publishers that they can't make garbage games like this and hope to survive.
Jan 19th 2012 10:04PM I have no idea how this works but, to be honest, I'm not quite as interested if I can't use a huge variety of pokemon. :(
Jan 18th 2012 2:40AM @(Unverified) Agreed. We need 1000% more Ducktales, Darkwing Duck, Talespin, & Rescue Rangers!
Jan 16th 2012 4:33PM @pluupy I was just being sarcastic. :)
Jan 15th 2012 2:06PM @Rocket Raccoon The other 10% is Edward and Winry making googly eyes at each other.
Jan 15th 2012 2:05PM Clearly you guys haven't seen Fullmetal Alchemist. 90% of the series is Edward sweeping out Mustang's office.
Jan 15th 2012 2:04PM @Kevadu You did read where he wrote " It's as clichéd as those bulky characters from the West.", right? Not that I am necessarily agreeing or disagreeing with him...
Jan 12th 2012 4:28PM I really hate the homebase stuff. I honestly JUST want to play Risk. I don't want to pester people I barely know and I don't want to spend actual money on it. I don't mind seeing advertisements everywhere but the whole game feels like a lot of garbage...
