Sep 7th 2005 7:15PM Podcasts now showing in the library - Fantastic! Now we can use smart playlists to manage syncing podcasts to the ipod - Play Count = 0 anyone! This was the biggest oversight in 4.9.

Jul 20th 2005 8:32AM Dashboard - Sometimes! The recent Backpack widget has made me re-consider using this more. Automater - Not as much as I thought I would. I find it a bit limiting that you are restricted to automator actions made available by apps - but it has a lot of possibilities if I ever get around to it. Spotlight - Yes - It's superb for finding content but not as an application selector. I used Launchbar as an indispensable 3rd party app which takes care of all my application selection and conact retreival - it's unbeatable. Just need to setup keypresses for Option-Spacebar for Lauunchbar and Alt-Spacebar for Spotlight You haven't metioned the dictionary that comes with Tiger - fantastic popup windows in most applications. Expose - Limited use but nice to kno its there when I need it

Apr 30th 2005 7:42PM I haven't even seen Spotlight index yet - it just does it! I did do a fresh install and have been selectively copying data across from my backup but as of yet I haven't seen the indexing screen once.

Mac mini March: Was your DVI > VGA adapter DOA? (TUAW.com)

Mar 7th 2005 1:30PM Yes, I'm using a TFT with the supplied adapter and it does look "dull" thru the KVM switch in the monitors default configuration for my Windows PC. However, a few adjustments to the colour setting of the monitor fixed that and all is well. Except the PC is too bright but I hardly ever need to switch over from the mac so it's not really an issue!
