Browser tip of the day: jot down that info with QuickNote (Download Squad)
Jul 25th 2005 6:54PM Another option is the Opera browser, with no extensions necessary. You can't copy images (as far as I know), but you can record as many notes as possible, search them, email them directly from the browser, and also paste in a note in an email/form directly from the right-click menu of a mouse. You can also create folders and separators to organize your notes within the sidebar. (http://www.opera.com)
Browser Tip of the Day: Browster speeds up surfing in IE (Download Squad)
Jul 13th 2005 11:12PM If you like the look of this plugin, but want more functionality, checkout the iRider web browser. (www.irider.com) Behaves the same way, pre-fetching web pages, but does it for any site. There's a 21 day trial on their webpage before buying a license. Makes the browsing experience much faster, but takes up a lot of memory.
Convert your docs into PDF's (Download Squad)
Jun 28th 2005 1:10AM An alternative to converting your files to PDFs is to export directly with OpenOffice's suite. You can't create multipage pdfs with indexes and bookmarks, etc. but you can do basic pages. Useful for people who don't want to pay to convert their resumes or press releases into another format. Software is completely free and available for Windows, Mac, and Linux. http://www.openoffice.org - Main site http://download.openoffice.org/index.html - Main download page. http://distribution.openoffice.org/p2p/download.html - Bittorrent site
