Jun 2nd 2009 4:28PM How about no. I shouldn't have to own your entire platform ecosystem in order to get to content within a given game on a given platform.
I don't mind adding some sort of bonus functionality (you can use the secondary screen of the handheld as a radar map, or as a PIP-boy, or share media between your console and your portable), but tying content to other platforms this way? BS.
For context (in case someone wants to try and argue that this is just like one of these other things and draw parallels): I am not against DLC content (everyone has equal access, with no additional hardware/software required). I am against content tied to pre-orders/purchases from specific retailers.
