MSNBC looking for a new star at 10 o'clock (AOL TV)
Jan 25th 2009 10:37AM David Shuster already has a show at 6 PM, I don't see why he would work better at 10 PM. Pat Buchanan used to have a daily show and it failed, they seem to like him better as an analyst. Joe Scarborough had a primetime show already but now that MSNBC finally has a hit in the morning, I don't think they'd send him back to primetime.

Hurl: Episode 1 (series premiere) (AOL TV)
Jul 16th 2008 4:53PM There's a caption that says G4 under the pic and I also linked to the network site as well.
Stop trying to defend yourself when you're wrong. Your caption clearly says g4.com (instead of G4 or g4tv.com). You should seriously list at the network and both the day and the time the show airs in your article when you're reviewing a show. It's just common sense.
Talk Talk: Michelle Pfeiffer, Kyra Sedgwick, Paula Poundstone (AOL TV)
Aug 6th 2007 6:11PM >>>The Daily Show: Matt Damon (repeat - give me a break, this is from Friday?!?)
The Daily Show doesn't even air on Fridays...
Ultra Fantaboulous & Sexy TV Squad Talk Extravaganza & Happy Hour! #1 (AOL TV)
Aug 4th 2007 12:44AM I was pleasently surprised, but that was pretty interesting to listen to. The whole hour went by pretty quickly for me. Now for the constructive criticism, I hope you won't mind!
Some parts dragged a bit long. Maybe have a timer or at least a self-imposted limit... maybe wind-down on a topic after maybe 4-5 minutes? The whole thing about Bridget was really good (maybe she'll marry me now!). Maybe you could talk about her on every show. Haha. "Now time for your Bridget update!"
I think you should cut down on the "behind the scenes of the show" stuff. It's interesting to me, because I work in radio, but I'm sure most people don't care if the music fades, stuff like that. On the other hand, talking about the website and behind-the-scenes stuff like the categories is fine, I think, because it's TV-related, and that's the subject of the show.
Your theme song I think could be more TV-oriented, maybe instrumental... I'm thinking stock music, kind of like the one Bridget uses (+1 for me!). If you want to feature your friends, that's a good idea, maybe you could have a musical break in the middle of the show, since it's live, so that you can maybe breathe a bit, that's always good. Maybe bring some water as well.
Could you try to adjust the level of the different hosts? One of you, I think it was Jay, was way too loud. And you need to plan the hosts' calls a bit more. Random callers is fine for... well random callers, but when Jay, one of the main hosts, calls, you can't ask "is that Jay? Jay said he might call"... it sounds unprofessionnal. I know this is not radio, so maybe I'm being a bit harsh on the professionalism.
I love the site, I think your podcast was very good, and I will certainly listen to the next one. Good job!
CSI: NY is not a history program (AOL TV)
Aug 3rd 2007 10:28PM By the way, Bob, you reeeally need to read the articles before writing your posts, it makes you look really stupid. Look at the mistakes you made in just 100 words...
""The CRTC has restored integrity to the Canadian broadcasting system by making the right decision and requiring AAC to remove 'CSI: NY' from its History Television schedule," she said. Alliance Atlantis has until January 1 to yank "CSI: NY" from its channel."
Making your statement "Can't the channel just not show it?" useless. Also, about "the producers of CSI: NY who claimed that the show," that was said by Alliance Atlantis, the owner of History Television. The producers of CSI:NY said nothing about the show being historical, I don't think...
"...Alliance Atlantis Communications' argument that "CSI: NY" offered History Television viewers "a critically acclaimed look at forensic policing in post-9/11 New York City.""
Sorry if I sound mean-spirited, but I would just like TV Squad to not write just everything that goes through their mind without just a tiny bit of research. I mean, you get paid, don't you?
CSI: NY is not a history program (AOL TV)
Aug 3rd 2007 10:16PM They should air the show on the Food Network instead. Because people sometimes eat food on the show, you know.

Leslie Nielsen is your guide to the "ologies" (AOL TV)
Jul 1st 2007 11:43PM The show originated here in Canada and aired a few months ago on the Discovery Channel. It's very sitcom-y, it's not "hosted" by Nielsen, and that's not really his nephew. You can watch some videos of it here:
