Desert Moon is an impressive tower defense Time Waster (Download Squad)
Jan 11th 2011 4:00PM Hopefully no one from my IT department is watching but...It kills me to see all these great time wasters on DS and not be able to check them out while at work (where Time Wasters are best utilized!).
My questions is, does anyone know of a good site where these are rehosted? On second thought, DS should do a favor for poor shlubs(sp?) like me that have a strict IT department and rehost their recommendations (when allowed by the developer). Any thoughts?

Microsoft facing patent lawsuit over Zune Buy From FM feature (Engadget)

Thanks for the link to this guys other patents, it was very interesting. After looking at it though, this guys just seems like the type of person who figured out how to apply for patents and thought he should throw every idea he had into an application.
I'm not saying that is a bad idea but I highly doubt he has an active plan for implementing and selling all of those inventions. I could be wrong but from what it looks like, he was planning on this exact situation to make money, as opposed to protecting his ideas and actually making something on his own. Maybe some people think that is okay but I hope, for the sake of progress, that this type of activity doesn't continue to be profitable.
MEDL Technology's 'The Panel' hands-on (Engadget)
Mar 30th 2010 10:15AM I would LOVE to see this with Wireless USB. My dream is to have a wireless monitor that I could connect to my desktop so I could play games or browse the internet from my living room. I currently use a laptop (as most people do) but I really want to play games without going to my office and I don't want to(and haven't) pay for an expensive laptop. It may be a niche market but if it wasn't too expensive, I could see a decent amount of people picking up on that.
'The Panel' rechargeable LED monitor sentences you to a more productive life (Engadget)
Mar 23rd 2010 4:48PM If you added a wireless video option, this would be absolutely perfect (maybe with the new Intel chipset that wouldn't be too hard). I use my laptop at home most of the time because I don't like having to be in the office to use my desktop. This way, I could have the power of my desktop but the freedom to be anywhere in the house (with an RF keyboard/mouse).

Jan 15th 2010 5:03PM I'm confused because I read this yesterday from said sister site Engadget.
