Friends feature film rumors begin again (AOL TV)

Sep 29th 2009 1:56PM The rumours started when James Michael Taylor was in the UK. He was here to promote a new Friends DVD, a 15th anniversary box-set edition. On the same trip, he opened a promotional 'Central Perk' in London and toured the TV studios. Now, call me cynical, but that they had a DVD to flog couldn't possibly be the reason for the resurfacing of the movie rumours, could it? The Warner PR machine was going full blast last week, it wouldn't surprise me if it this was part of it.

Cougar Town: Pilot (series premiere) (AOL TV)

Sep 24th 2009 1:21AM I swore not to watch anything with Christa Miller until her face starts moving again.

Almost every character in the show, apart from Cox & her son, is annoying. Especially Miller.

Jul 8th 2009 11:35AM It's not quite as simple as just being able to run PHP scripts. Most shared hosts will have disabled system commands from being made by scripts, this won't work with most shared hosts as a result.

Things I Hate About TV: Counting Americans in a tragedy (AOL TV)

Jun 2nd 2009 4:37PM Every other country does it. It only be wrong if they reported only about their nationality, and not the hundreds of other peopel who died also.

I think it's relevant to the people who are served by the TV Station.

The U.K. is doing it, the Irish, the French will no doubt be reporting prominently the number of French people who died. It's what a nation's media is supposed to do.

Could the rest of the world get Hulu... or at least the U.K.? (AOL TV)

May 25th 2009 10:48AM Programming like the Facts of Life is what will make or break Hulu in the U.K. We can, as the above commenter said, already see all the BBC (without ads), ITV, C4 stuff that we want to.

Hulu U.K. should focus on more obscure American programming. Picket Fences is one show on the U.S. Hulu, that I'm dying to see again.

Cougar Town? Is that really the name? (AOL TV)

May 19th 2009 10:57PM The clip doesn't look great. Certainly not Bill Lawrence's best work.

I also have a hard time watching anything with Christa Miller Lawrence in, her face hasn't moved for years - it scares the children. I'll probably skip and watch my DVDs instead, South Park perhaps - anything with some animation in it.

May 19th 2009 12:11PM Better yet, their page for the Kingon Anti-Virus is, seemingly, not ready to go public.

This internal comment is clearly visibile "$Header: index.html,v 1.2 2009/05/08 14:53:14 james Web page status: Draft 0.8. Req action: Mktg to review wording and imagery (better screenshots required etc..), and QA to check links. Expected launch date: July 2009. Software status: Ready. $".

NBC would rather pay a huge penalty than air Legally Mad (AOL TV)

May 12th 2009 3:38PM I bet Warner Bros. are oh-so-happy they nabbed David E. Kelley from 20th Century Fox, for this.

Whatever the man had, I think he's lost it.
