RoboForm now available for Google Chrome, sort of (Download Squad)

Sep 26th 2009 5:54AM Looks the same as "toolbar" you get in the exactly same place when you use Roboform in Firefox when you access a site with the Trident layout engine via something like IETab. One almost might even think they reused the same code.

I've never been able to get Lastpass to work when I use Trident within Firefox, its one thing I miss from Roboform, a clumsy solution is better than none. I also liked Roboform's stand alone windows program for doing maintenance. But I don't miss Roboform's waste of space mandatory toolbars.

Jul 26th 2009 8:59PM Is there a provision for installing more than one browser eg IE & FF & Chrome.

Forget the logo's, forget horizontal scrolling, a list of check boxes is what's needed that allows multi-select; plus a Make Selected Default button

22 April 2009 - "Toyota Motor Sales USA will soon be offering a bare-bones version of the upcoming next-generation Prius hybrid"

LM is presumably of the opinion that Toyota is not or should not be working on the fully featured next-get Prius, and especially not on the next nextgen Prius.

Time to worry is when MS is NOT working on SP1 & SP2.

Dear EU: Please quit whining about browsers already (Download Squad)

May 31st 2009 9:13PM It is true that the EU Commission's actions are the result of complaints from vendors of other browsers, but I don't think it is duty bound to act on every complaint it receives.

The citizens of the EU would be better served if the Commission attended to the issues such as those raised in this lecture http://policyinstitute.info/news-events/marta-andreasen-lecture/, to this day those issues have not been addressed.

The EU is a seriously flawed institution, some would say it's corrupt. It should gets its own house in order and stop trying to destroy everything else - better yet it should be dissolved, like NATO it's reached its use-by date.

May 31st 2009 8:52PM Because the folks at the EU hate successful non-EU businesses.

Perhaps Mercedes should give me the choice of installing a Toyota engine!

May 31st 2009 8:48PM Leo, that's a problem (arguably a bug, certainly a defect) with the apps that starts IE, any half decent app that wants a browser will just start the default browser.
