Apr 12th 2011 12:33PM What?? NOOOOO!!!! I come here every day, it's sites like this that keep me "in the know" before everyone else in my company. Engadget is just that - gadgets - I need to know about SERVICES and that's what makes you guys great.I really, really, REALLY hope you and the other ex-talent as this platform AOL has WRECKED are very, very close to relaunching your own startup blogosphere again. Next time, just say NO to these corporate sponges!! Miss you, see you all soon?!
Jan 21st 2011 12:47PM Nooo still no JB available for Windows! (jailbreak that is, not jailbait. There's plenty of jailbait available on Windows).
Jan 7th 2011 3:35PM I have both, I actually use Slacker 95% of the time. Grooveshark's lookup ability is so hit-or-miss, and its ability to stream decent associated radio is uninspiring. I would like it if Slacker had a Pandora-like similar music streaming feature as an option, but instead it offers "stations" which are picked by employee "DJs" so there's very little I hear I don't like. Station of choice is Indie Chill.Anyway I regret my Grooveshark subscription. Especially as an iOS user after Apple pulled their app. >:/
Nov 15th 2010 8:03PM I pirated this to compare it long-term with some alternatives, and in turn our company ended up buying 6 legitimate copies. But I still don't have one. Go figure. Pick me.
Nov 10th 2010 3:34PM I'm all for the extra free space - but Dropbox has made HUGE headway with so many providers integration their open API. Wonder how Sugar can catch up...
Sep 30th 2010 1:35PM I find it hard to believe that ANYONE still uses a single-client IM app. Why would you want to limit yourself to the contacts you can chat with, or run multiple programs for chat?As for Live Mesh, I really enjoyed it until Dropbox added an iPhone app.
Sep 23rd 2010 12:36PM OMG I'm sincerely sorry - the comment still stands but it's insulting to confuse the two! Actually I love you both. AOL for the facts and Gawker for the wry wit, equally important in my day.
Sep 23rd 2010 12:31PM And let's not forget the NUMBER ONE reason Gawker networks would like you to use IE9 - no AdBlock support! ;-)
Jun 17th 2010 10:54PM Nope, that's why I only recently switched to Dropbox, as an iPhone addict. But I loved Live Mesh, and Foldershare which it was called before.
May 28th 2010 5:44PM I only switched from Live Mesh because of Dropbox's iPhone app. Makes getting things on & off your iDevices a breeze.
