How would you change Dell's Studio XPS 13 / 16? (Engadget)

May 2nd 2009 10:44AM I have been hearing for years how Dell computers run hot. Well they don't run any hotter than the others. Dell computers just work harder. They come bundled with so much crapware that it hurts performance and generates unnecessary heat. The solution is PC Decrapifier or I prefer to do a OS reinstall before even using it. It's a shame that computers are not optimized out of the box. Windows now is going to limit the amount of crapware that vendors can put on their systems. This should help. You will be hearing more about this.

Quantum PI's nanoTrek sensors pick up vibration and motion your Wiimote could never dream of (Engadget)

May 1st 2009 10:49AM This is what I need. My motion detection is terrible. It takes a big movement to set it off. An ant crawling on the floor wont set it off and that's a good thing. I know you can adjust the sensitivity of these things. Everything keeps getting better and better. What's next, Bluetooth 3.0?

Is It Rude To Talk On Your Cellphone While Waiting in Line? (Switched)

Apr 30th 2009 5:48PM As long as you keep your voice down and conversation short it's no problem. Before I got a cell phone I couldn't understand why people must talk on the go, now I see why. These things are time savers and so much more. Conversations used to bother me, now I'm used to it.

Audyssey DSX surround sound takes the speaker-count war to 11 (Engadget)

Apr 30th 2009 4:41PM I don't think people want more speakers. I like the idea and would have to hear what the sound effects sound like. The room and the materials around the speakers have a greater effect on the overall quality. Find sound absorbing materials and it will improve audio quality.
