Linux claimed to be running on Zune (Engadget)

Dec 29th 2006 3:33PM I totally agree with one of the previous posters. With Linux, the limits of the device would be removed and even more features could be added AND, most importantly, it would work with all operating systems.

vLite - nLite for Windows Vista (Download Squad)

Dec 29th 2006 3:30PM It is really neat. The beta releases of the Windows DVDs have all versions from Starter to Ultimate on them. With vLite you can choose with version you want to customize.

The only thing I've noticed is that there do not appear to be a lot of customization options. You can remove a lot of things, however, with nLite you can remove the memory and hard drive requirements, which is how I've been able to install XP Professional onto a computer with only 32 megabytes and 2 gig hard drive. However, I'm sure they're working on it even more and we'll hopefully see those options in a future release of vLite.

Fedora Core 6 now available (Download Squad)

Oct 24th 2006 3:58PM It has some SERIOUS speed improvements in my tests of FC6 - Test 3. I am anxious to see if anything has changed between test 3 and the final version.

Linux XP releases international edition (Download Squad)

Sep 23rd 2006 5:51PM I played with it a long, long time ago. It was on a LiveCD. It seemed slow back then. It seemed buggy and flaky, some things worked, others didn't. I'll need to download the newest version and play around with it.

Google adds tabs to Personalized Home (Download Squad)

Sep 15th 2006 11:28PM I like it a lot, but, I wish I could have more than 6 tabs. After I created 5 additional tabs, other than my homepage, it won't let me create anymore.
