How I Met Your Mother: Right Place Right Time (AOL TV)

How I Met Your Mother: Right Place Right Time (AOL TV)

May 5th 2009 10:29AM I personally thought the Sexxy/2X, 1Y joke was a great throwaway line. Was not expecting Stella, but when Robin said it was going to rain, I saw the yellow umbrella coming :) Yet another great HIMYM episode in the "unusual" HIMYM style.

ThetaWall is a highly customizable wallpaper changer (Download Squad)

Mar 31st 2009 11:51PM Checked it out, but I still don't think it is close to John's Background Switcher:

How I Met Your Mother: Murtaugh (AOL TV)

Mar 31st 2009 10:29AM I had to rewind it to watch it again as well, just because it sort of came out of no where. Another "laugh my butt off and then explain the geeky origins of my laughing to the Mrs.", but totally worth it.

Sprint keeping a watchful eye on G1, will offer Android when it's good and ready (Engadget Mobile)

Dec 16th 2008 9:58PM This is pretty much what I'm waiting for. I've been holding out on a Verizon upgrade for about 8 months due to the desire to A) go to Sprint since Verizon's phones usually are locked down, B) I get a decent discount on Sprint service though work, and C) I want an Android phone.

Add a mark to the "Let's Do Dis" count.

CSI: 19 Down... (Part One) (AOL TV)

Dec 12th 2008 1:08PM From what I've read in the past, it has to do with how the CSIs are actually handled in the locations the shows are places. Part of the reason that some shows carry guns, while others are more "support". Some locations have CSIs who have actually been "cops" in the past, while others are more of a "specialist", so they aren't really gun carrying badges.

Can't find a link to it ATM, but am looking for something that explains it a bit better.

What's On Tonight: Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, House, The Shield (AOL TV)

Nov 25th 2008 5:48PM There is one thing on tonight - The Shield finale

Everything else is just filler...

Microsoft to replace FolderShare with Windows Live Sync (Download Squad)

Nov 23rd 2008 5:11AM I'm the same as you, Dale. I tried out Mesh, expecting the "next evolution of FolderShare" and all I got was a bloated, unresponsive resource hog that appeared to duplicate everything it attempted to do.

FolderShare is the same thing it was before MS snagged it - a nice, clean, easy to use (well, once you know what you are doing anyhow) syncing tool. I've used it for years and never had issues.

The Shield: Possible Kill Screen (AOL TV)

Nov 20th 2008 4:52PM Omar dying is a spoiler, yes, but knowing how many bullets he's dodged, the one that gets him isn't what you are expecting.

Have to agree - Omar was a guy you liked rooting for, and one I was sad to see go, but the show is great either way.

Fringe: In Which We Meet Mr. Jones (AOL TV)

Nov 13th 2008 12:24PM I liked seeing "Godfather" appear on another show (The actor who played Loeb played Godfather on Generation Kill) and good to see him sticking around. He played a bit part on GK very well and I was pleasantly surprised to see him pop up on Fringe, but was expecting him to be gone before the end of the sow.

I had the Mario Brothers/Piranha Plant flash as well with the parasite, with a little bit of Little Shop of Horrors sprinkled on top :)
