Aug 4th 2006 11:09AM Ubuntu's liveCD is slow. For anyone that want's to dabble, knoppix is the best. Switching from windows, ubuntu is the best. The forums are the most active, so support will be the easiest to get from there. Then try to switch from gnome to KDE. then Get slackware with KDE, then get blackbox. Finally, run everything from a shell and you will be KING.
