Disney Now Considering Directors For 'The Silver Chair?' (Cinematical)

Apr 25th 2008 1:53AM I'm sorry, Jean B. Good Lord, it's been a long day.

Disney Now Considering Directors For 'The Silver Chair?' (Cinematical)

Apr 24th 2008 12:58PM James, the original 4 are kinda phased out as you progress in the series. After the third movie, 3 of them are mentioned in passing and after that, you won't see any of them until The Final Battle. Because of that, the "Harry Potter" age issue shouldn't be seen in the franchise.

Battlestar Galactica should be called Battlestar Ga-suck-tica (AOL TV)

Apr 15th 2008 2:35PM Honestly, it looks like you've set this show up for failure by refusing to watch it and then "caving in." It's as if you are intent on not liking it.

Save us all the drama by just stopping and not picking it back up, please.

BTW, many of your complaints are explored and even explained later in the series, especially with the TV movie Razor.

Mrs. Ted Mosby? Chalke may return to HIMYM (AOL TV)

Apr 11th 2008 2:24PM Maybe it's just me, but I don't understand the snobbish resistance against "guest stars" -- (most of) these people are actors. That's what they do. Just because James Van Der Beek has been in movies doesn't differentiate him any more than NPH.

Now, if it's from the genre of "ripped from the headlines non-actors," like Britney, granted, there's room for some complaints. But a list of actual guest actors, I don't have any problem with that.

Xbox goes profitable, almost like a grown-up business (Engadget)

Jan 25th 2008 11:08AM Dave, why would they bitch. People have known XBOX finally made a profit like what, last fall?? It was only *officially* announced to investors on their call.

OLPC XO reviewed... by a twelve-year-old (Engadget)

Aug 10th 2007 3:45PM Look, I hate to be the typical cynic when it comes to this thing, but come on.

There are three options that come to mind when reading this "review":
- Either a 12 year old exactly like Dakota Fanning wrote that, or
- It was heavily edited by a corporate suit, or
- It wasn't written by a 12 year old at all.

Win a super rare signed 300-Edition Xbox 360 Elite and 300 HD DVD! (Engadget)

Jul 31st 2007 11:54PM My fav scene is where the two Spartans take care of a bunch of Persians, rambling about stuff as they slash their enemies -- it reminded me of the scene in Return of the King where Gimli and Legolas were taking score and trying to outdo the other, LOL.

America's Got Talent: Performance Episode #1 (AOL TV)

Jul 18th 2007 12:27AM I was definitely impressed with Butterscotch's performance tonight... seriously, I can't imagine how difficult it is to sing and beatbox at the same time, and for the most part (with some allowances), you could still understand most of what she was singing. Woah!

I'm wondering if her outfit that Piers commented on was directed by the producers... we'll never really know.

Knowing someone who was *the* contestant on the entire season of a reality show, things are always produced, tweaked and edited in a reality show. Moving on...

As for The Glamazons -- bear with me for a moment -- I think they get the picture that they are plus size. I have no problem with it, I think they look great and see them on stage in confidence -- but is it really necessary for the trio judges to point that sole fact out *each and every time*? I mean, my God, move on about their appearance: they know it, we know it. Talk about drilling the point home that bony celebrities get more eyes, geez! LOL

Anyways, my three pics out of the competition thus far are: Kevin James (last week's bit was amazing -- this week's was a let down), Butterscotch and The Glamazons.

Wash your car, make love, it's all the same (AOL TV)

Jul 14th 2007 12:01PM "Sometimes I'll sneak out at night with a pail and a bottle of Mr. Clean and wash all the cars in my neighborhood while people sleep in their beds, not knowing I'm in their yard, gently rubbing their car's headlights in a counter clockwise motion while humming Barry White tunes."

I think that is the single, most disturbing paragraph I've read in a long time, LOL! Thanks for that, Adam.
