Nov 16th 2010 11:48AM I have no reason to not just use Zune Pass. The jump from $3.99 to $14.99 gives you a lot more
Nov 15th 2010 1:20PM Something wrong with your Trophy? It's faster than Facebook on my Focus (maybe because I don't follow as many people as you). Comparisons have been showing the HTC devices as being a little slower though.Anyway, try the Beezz app and see if you prefer that
Nov 13th 2010 11:30PM Uh.. That top Marketplace app is plugin, allowing you to watch YouTube videos on the phone. I can see how regular buyers might not have realized this, but you'd think a DownloadSquad writer might knowAnyway, if you're looking for a browsing and searching client then you want "YouTube by LazyWorm". I agree that Google's efforts on WP7 have been lacking, but I guess they weren't going to get a lot of early access to the OS, being a competitor
Oct 13th 2010 7:52PM Bringing the Zune client to Mac? Microsoft announced no such thing. They said they're bringing a public beta of a syncing tool. You can't just be posting stuff without checking, guys
Oct 6th 2010 12:37PM I think Bing's snippet method is superior. That screenshot will tell me nothing but what the site I'm going to looks like, which is not perfectly useful information. I already know which site it is from the link... and plus, when searching you care about specific results, not the site in general. Bing's snippet shows you your query in context so you can tell if your question is being answered.
Oct 6th 2010 12:34PM How about "inspired"? When people would accuse Microsoft of copying, they never seemed to require that the feature implemented be *exactly* the same, but just the same idea. Bing had background images, Bing had side navigation, Bing had infinite image results, Bing had result previews on hover.
Sep 1st 2010 10:03AM Well I guess it's not quite the same... Sweep is more like automatic filtering
Sep 1st 2010 9:40AM Um, Isn't the Sweep feature in the new Hotmail an example of them being first to market on this?
Aug 31st 2010 2:02AM Hm. Response to Hotmail's 'Sweep', but probably better. It seems Google is first with fewer and fewer innovations these days. I thought Microsoft was the one to "follow then dominate".
Jul 29th 2010 7:08PM You know they already have Street View equivalent called StreetSide, right? It's not everywhere yet but it's pretty good
