Mar 9th 2011 2:30PM Does the Hotspot option appear only if you have paid for tethering? Is there some setting you need to provide from the carrier in order to enable/unlock the feature? I was wondering how it works? I live in Europe and was hoping just to enable it and use it with my current data plan. If it is locked down then I hope some nice person allows us to unlock it via Cydia and allow us to use it on our current data plan.
Nov 10th 2010 1:12PM I seriously hope MSE steps up its game. Everyone raves about it but its given nothing but grief to my girlfriends system. She's running Vista and I removed AVG and put MSE at the time it came out because of all the positive reviews. In the last 3 months alone, we have had to clean her system about 4 times - the last one being just 2 days ago and these are serious attacks where you cant do anything on the regular desktop that you have to go into safe mode and do a thorough clean. Thankfully Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and Combofix always sort things out. Given the number of attacks however, I am inclined to move her back to something else. Pretty crappy that MSE only intergrates with IE and not other browsers such as Chrome which she uses. The fact that I have had to use Combofix 4 times already doesn't say much for the integrity of MSE.

Aug 9th 2010 12:33PM @LauraYou do realise that Ari has an iMac on his desk right? Something he's had since like forever. I'll forgive you if the sight of Vinces bare ass caused a lack of thinking on your part when creating this post.
Aug 1st 2010 10:35PM The iPhones don't have Gorilla Glass, maybe if they did that would be one less thing for Steve to worry about. Even though the Streak has a tough screen, it still breaks when dropped like an iPhone:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YuuWRB43HCE
Jul 31st 2010 1:10PM Reduce the price! I always look at it and think wow - I would love to have that. Right now I have 10 Seagate external drives connected to my PC. The crap thing about them is that once they get full, I need to buy yet another bigger drive. So something like the Drobo is perfect as it allows me to just use one case and swap out drives as and when my capacities needs increase. I could buy/build a cheap PC and buy the drives to add to it and have something similar for cheaper. The price is the single factor putting me off from buying them. So I have a question - one of the great things about this is that you can swap out any disk at anytime, and one disk is always used to protect your data incase any of the other disks fail. Well what happens if the disk that is saving data is the one that fails, then what?
Jul 23rd 2010 10:11AM well duh Apple, of course the black ones are more popular - they are the only ones available!
Jul 21st 2010 3:35PM For a company whos software is based around video chat, the fact that iOS4 has background support AND video calling - for them to not utilise it, is complete stupidity. They would have had early access to iOS4 and the phone for sure. They should have had this front and center on day one of the iPhone 4 launch - video over WiFi. Even if it's just over WiFi that would be fine until it works okay over 3G. Wake me up when they offer video calling over WiFi - something that they should have been doing from day one. Video over 3G should be the biggie not background support on voice only calls.
