Google Apps Calendar Maintenance (Download Squad)

Apr 25th 2007 3:22AM Hmm, from my European-centric point of view (as opposed to the US-centric) I can not see much daylight happening at the scheduled maintenance time window.

Basically, if you operate on a worldwide scale as Google Apps do, there simply is not a single time window which pleases all of the planet.

Sep 6th 2006 1:36AM Does this mean that we will finally have a working speech recognition engine as a by-product?

Now, that's what I'd call a huge collateral benefit...

Aug 18th 2006 2:25PM There's a vast amount of these stunning visuals over at Flickr. The generator site is run by Sala - the same guy who sells one thousend paintings of plain blue numbers, a meme honored by being mentioned at Seth Godin's blog.

SlimStat - free web stats package (Download Squad)

May 24th 2006 9:08AM I really enjoy using SlimStat since ins early incarnations. It's immensely faster than ShortStat even at huge numbers of recorded visits due to proper database indices, and Stephen Wettone releases a beefed up version frequently.

The recorded information is rich and meaningful, referrer spam filters keep the crap outdoors, and there's even an interface for third party plugins: Don't miss some valuable extensions like SlimView charting (http://www.igirisu.f2s.com/index.php?entryid=8) and wet_slimpattern for SlimStat's integration into Textpattern-powered websites (http://awasteofwords.com/article/wetslimpattern-integrate-slimstat-with-textpattern).

Opinions on "life management" tools (Download Squad)

Dec 12th 2005 12:46PM LifeBalance by LlamaGraphics (http://www.llamagraphics.com/) is a todo application on steroids and available for Palm, Windows, and Mac as well. It uses a very different approach to GTD by trying to manage "your life as a whole", computing priorities dynamically based on a set of parameters like due dates, location, hierarchical to-do lists and the like. May sound confusing at very first sight, but LifeBalance is definitely one of the most sophisticated to-do apps for Palm Powered devices.
