May 14th 2011 1:43PM The problem with Bott's story wasn't that Macs may indeed be getting more malware down the road. The problem was Bott's snotty know-it-all attitude that somehow he was the FIRST to make this claim, and his predictable "oh, those mac fanboys" response to his original article. Go back to all those previous articles-every single one of the writers pretended they were the first to sound the alarm. Every one of them wrote their article as a "told you so" to point back to a year/two years/five years in the future.Do we need articles about the dangers of malware on Macs? Sure. Do we need Windows alarmists like Ed Bott lecturing us about it every year? Yeah, I'll pass.
May 8th 2011 7:29PM $20/year will probably entice me to subscribe to both the New Yorker and Wired...but I hope they make their downloads a bit more efficient as well.
Apr 28th 2011 2:29PM The Wired App was just updated, but not with that free issue-that actually came out on April 15th. http://mediamemo.allthingsd.com/20110415/wireds-newest-ipad-issue-boasts-its-best-feature-yet-free/
Mar 27th 2011 12:02AM Any news of an iPad version?
Mar 22nd 2011 4:04PM One problem I have with iBooks PDFs is that each page comes in "fuzzy" as you turn the page, then sharpens up-really irritating when you are browsing a book. Does PDF Expert have this issue?
Mar 9th 2011 4:27PM A native app that is superior imho to the iPad/iPhone apps.
Mar 5th 2011 2:21PM Man, a site like that would be a great way to harvest passwords to add to a brute force dictionary.
Feb 18th 2011 6:40PM Damn, that looks like a perfect game for the iPad!
Feb 18th 2011 1:11AM Awesome, thanks for checking, Chris! I want it!
Feb 18th 2011 12:37AM Does the DRC-BT30 support multipoint profiles? (i.e. can you pair more than one device at a time-so I could pair my iPhone, iPad, and Macbook once, rather than have to re-pair each time ) I noticed the Sony MW600 says it can support 3 devices, but doesn't mention it in the BT30 writeup.
