Oct 22nd 2009 7:08AM If you need more than a screenshot and actually need to use your site in a particular browser or OS to make sure javascript or interactive elements such as rollovers or ajax effects work properly, give crossbrowsertesting.com a try. It provides both the initial screening that Browserlab does by taking screenshots and the ability to actually use a desired browser live via vnc.
Windows 7 install roundup (Engadget)
Jan 21st 2009 11:20AM We installed a few copies of Windows 7 on CrossBrowserTesting.com to enable our site visitors to test the Windows 7 / IE8 Beta combination without having to install on their own desktop. The install was on top of VMWare Server on Redhat ES 4.0, and we were really pleased with the speed of the installation. I was trying to play a game while the installs progressed, but they kept finishing too quickly!
