Dec 7th 2009 12:41PM Perhaps this will have a micro-USB connection versus the funky HTC power connector thingy.
Oct 5th 2009 11:18AM ...I wonder about the compatibility (I've read some things online regarding it) BUT T-Mobile is coming out with a new Blackerry soon that supports 3G and UMA... so.... --I just want that feature in any phone I use with them. I only two bars of EDGE where I live and I'm always near a WiFi spot (home, work and Starbucks). I find it incredibly useful and I really like T-Mobiles customer service. I've been with them since they were Powertel back in 2001!
Oct 5th 2009 10:45AM Anyone know if it will or might have UMA???? Grrrr....
Sep 29th 2009 2:08PM No UMA... blah :-\
Sep 22nd 2009 5:41PM SDot : you can read these two sources: http://www.umatechnology.org/overview/http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unlicensed_Mobile_AccessIt basically allows for WiFi calling on your handset without the need for a soft interface like Skype. I can talk on my cell phone, normally, and when I'm in range of an open or previously setup access point then the phone will connect and continue the call. The big selling point is that on networks like T-Mobile calling on and started from the WiFi AP is free --doesn't count against your minutes. Same goes for calls from AP's that are in other countries too. It's also very helpful if you have poor cell tower coverage in your area but want to use your home AP and Internet connection to make calls. I have it and LOVE it. I use it at work, home, airports and Starbucks.
Sep 22nd 2009 5:01PM I like the phone and features... but with no UMA in that thing it doesn't help those of us that depend on WiFi calling (especially where I live with only two bars of EDGE). If T-mobile had a femtocell device... that would make up for it. I just don't get why they can't offer UMA in this thing? Grrrr.....
Sep 22nd 2009 4:24PM ....and no UMA built-in.... booooo....
Jul 17th 2009 2:21PM Free stuff always tastes better.
Jul 17th 2009 11:32AM Never mind... it shows up in Chrome... but not in Firefox 3.5.1 --boo! :-)
Jul 17th 2009 11:29AM ...my "Facebook Ads" tab shows up blank... no "no one" option (or any other) to be found...???
