Feb 19th 2009 11:20PM considering GeeXboX made the list, so too should the multi-platform XBMC, formerly Xbox Media Center. It even has a version available for the original Xbox itself, of questionable legality of course.

A note on comments (Engadget)

Dec 19th 2008 2:35AM I love Engadget, but I do find that many posts are often VERY slanted, particularly for certain Apple products. Comments exist as a way for people to sound off their opinions on an article, and to create an open forum to discuss and defend such opinions. I think it is wrong that you, being the staffers of Engadget, are allowed to spout off all your biased views, but don't allow your readers to do the same. If you're going to allow comments, don't just lock the topic as you see fit just because some people disagree with you.
