May 31st 2010 12:37PM ... by the way, I may be on Facebook but I have yet to own a cell phone even though I have been tempted to buy since the days when we still called them car phones. It's just too much money for something I've been able to live without for this long.

May 31st 2010 9:30AM I felt (and still feel) much the same as you do Tom, but I joined Facebook reluctantly and although I rarely go on it, it can be really useful on occasion. Recently for example, a friend of mine, who I may only see once a year, if that, had an art show. They are not close enough that they would have phoned me, but invited me via Facebook. They invited about 40 other people via Facebook. I noticed that there were about 5 other people going that I had lost touch with and really wanted to see. That's five old friends I spent a day with that I might otherwise not have run into.

Dec 16th 2008 1:49PM I can't seem to get Windows Live Writer (which is a dream to blog with) to work with WordPress 2.7 Does anyone know if this update addresses that?
