New flat-speaker tech could make public places even louder (Engadget)

Apr 2nd 2009 10:13PM Completely agree although I'd be worried about the speaker being easily damaged if it was behind anything at all.

Mini Blu-ray discs show off wider adoption of HD format (Joystiq Playstation)

Aug 2nd 2007 10:05PM Just to put into perspective, these aren't UMD sized at all; they are 8cm mini-dvd sized disks (if your still not sure, its the sized of a Gamecube disk). I can't picture these in a PSP2 but still none the less these sort of products are great for HD adoption.

And finally another good question would be, would these play well with the slot loading drive of the PS3?

House: Insensitive (AOL TV)

Feb 15th 2007 4:27PM The chick had CIPA and got a tapeworm from undercooked food which she could not feel growing, the tapeworm ate her B12 making her deficient causing her symptoms. All in all another good HOUSE episode with plenty of character development which was I thought, much needed.

Sep 27th 2006 2:56PM 100's, possibly 1000's of these to be found under many different names. Suprised you covered this to be honest.

How will British standby laws affect consoles? [update 1] (Joystiq)

Jul 20th 2006 3:38PM Seen as the new law will only reduce the amount of power a product can use in standby I don't belive it will be such a problem at all. Wii will use very little power in standby and although standby may be killed off on older appliances, any new product would just have to be more efficient to meet knew guidlines.

Honestly this is worry over nothing but a bit of tightening the belt on standby power usuage.
