Nov 16th 2008 10:43AM HourVille (www.hourville.com) is in the same space but we support services, rentals, places, and classes - anything that can be billed hourly. We've taken the chicken and egg problem to heart and offer tools to address it:
• An online scheduling and calendar tool that allows sellers to post and manage their availability; buyers can book them right online
• Widgets and buttons that integrate with Facebook and Craigslist

These tools make HourVille independently useful to sellers while we grow and build our user base. Sellers can point their current customers, or customers they contact through Craigslist, Facebook, print classifieds, or even their own personal/business website to their HourVille profiles where customers can get all the information they need and schedule a service. Once HourVille has reached a sufficient size and notoriety sellers will be able to reach new buyers right through the site.

Additionally we support:
• Video, picture, and document uploads for profiles
• Ratings and reviews
• PayPal integration
• Fixed price and auction pricing formats

There are many sites out there attempting to improve incrementally over digital classifieds like Craigslist. We are the first to attempt to shift the paradigm by offering a holistic, comprehensive solution that integrates with and is complementary to a seller’s current means of doing business.
