Oct 16th 2008 5:14PM the vostro line are pretty decent small business or home productivity machines. i have a vostro 200. the only thing that piss me off is that it cannot see 4GB of RAM no matter what OS you run on, x64 XP? x64 Vista? x64 Linux? nope, you're still limited to 3.25GB.

dell probably did that at the motherboard level. these are probably all new 8GB max desktops but it would be nice if they did a BIOS update on the first vostros to give me my memory back.
