Tried W7 for a month on 64-bit PC. Got fed up with trying to do (or find) stuff that was a snap - or had workarounds - in XP. Sick of M$'s vomit-inducing palettes: orange bleeding into turquoise, come on!

Windows 7 is as fast and reliable as XP and Vista were promoted as being, yes, but as an OS it's average, not awesome. They've just tried to make it as near to MacOS as possible, and now it's locked down just as badly.

Feb 24th 2010 5:27PM There is an option NOT to invite facebook friends, but the implementation of Facebook is really lame - it just opens its own browser window. As you say - nice looking, but doesn't really deliver and hogs RAM.
