Hyundai Equus Apple iPad Manual: Full Details (Autoblog)

Jun 18th 2010 8:47AM Does the iPad fit in the glove box? If not, where do you store it? If you store it in the car, won't it become a theft item? If not in the car, how do you access it when you are in the car trying to figure something out, particularly if you are not at home?

Why not just build the manual into the center console's display so you always have it right in front of you.

Why not a higher gas tax? (Autoblog Green)

Jul 16th 2009 10:24AM Give me one good reason we should have a higher gas tax. So the government can have more of our hard earned money to squander and re-distribute? So buyers are forced to buy the cars they currently don't want? To quell the free market?

Alternative energy and high mileage cars CAN and SHOULD stand on their own merits. People who need them, or want them, will buy them.

EVs could actually use another vehicle class. Currently we have NEVs and real cars. 25mph top speed, or unlimited except by the local speed limits. why not a city car? something with a 45-50mph top speed, and illegal to run on interstates. Something with relaxed safety requirements vs. a "normal" car.
