Nov 4th 2009 1:18PM I think one lesson is that the youth vote made a huge difference in the '08 election, but this wasn't an "in the bag" support. The young voters came up from being unengaged to excited, and then got bored with it all again and went back to being unengaged. Our educational system tries to create an educated, involved citizenry thru it's various political science and civics classes that are required in high school and college. They make them really hard so that students will really get it. Instead, they don't get it at all. If you want the young vote you have to engage the young voter. Not just with social media and twitter, but give them something to do. It's not an easy task, especially over the apathy instilled in school, and reflected by the population at large.

Jul 7th 2009 12:49AM it's funny you should be asking where are they now. I just saw Judy Norton at a party last night. She's looking great, has a wonderful husband and a son who's about 10. I don't know what all she's doing career wise, but in her personal life she's really doing well.

Turbo Tax electronic filing system overloaded on Tuesday (Download Squad)

Apr 21st 2007 11:37PM My AGI from last year was correct on my return and I verified this with the IRS, however, Turbo Tax says it was wrong and so my return has been rejected. The problem seems to be the prior year AGI was imported wrongly into the federal information worksheet. Even the IRS man said the software is wrong if he and I have the same data. So, I've paid, can't get hold of IRS without paying more. Don't know what to do. J
