Findings of USF's Jim Leavitt Investigation to Be Announced Friday (Fanhouse NCAA Football Blog)

Jan 8th 2010 9:50AM Wow fanhouse!

Good work, great journalism. Another abusive jerk coach outed.

South Florida Senior Says Joel Miller Gave Details of Jim Leavitt's Slap (Fanhouse NCAA Football Blog)

Jan 7th 2010 9:30AM You do realize that he's probably making far more money than we was at his newspaper gig, right?

We're not talking about a blog run by a couple of kids. Aol is one of the biggest media companies on the planet (100 million unique readers a month vs whatever his regional paper had)

If Brett does in fact have it out for USF (which I find hard to believe), this new gig is bad bad news for your school.

Dec 14th 2009 3:59PM I'm so happy to see FanHouse stepping up and reporting on all the craziness going on in Tampa. USF's athletic department has turned an absolute blind eye to behavior in all of their sports.

Keep up the fantastic journalism fanhouse. It's much needed in todays day and age.

Unemployment Spreads Like a Pandemic (Emurse.com Blog)

Dec 1st 2009 9:30AM It's no where near over down here in Florida. We're at 12% in my hometown and the space program is about to get absolutely hammered. That'll likely bring it up closer to 20%.

The gub'ment can try to get everyone to think the worst is behind us, but my eyes and ears are telling me a different story -- at least locally. It's like watching a damned train wreck. :(

Spirit Airlines Reaches Out... (alexrudloff.com)

Nov 9th 2009 3:28PM I'm sure there are business reasons on his end. I'm also sure it would suck to have your google results muddied up from it all, I mean.. let's be honest.

At the same time, what I was really hoping for initially is that it was a way to have my complaints heard. The whole angry consumer thing. It's clear that I, and the others involved, were. No sense in holding a grudge or being spiteful about it all.

It's one thing if he shot me an email or had some sort of representative reach out. It's another when it's a personal phone call. I respect that.

Weighty Matters: Mike Huckabee Gains 25 Lbs., 'Biggest Loser' Comes to D.C. (Politics Daily)

Nov 5th 2009 9:27AM Uhh.. Emily Miller is a Republican. She was Tom Delay's communication director.

She made a fat joke not because of "progressive" views, but because she's a gossip columnist and the latest gossip is that Huck is turning fatso again.

Need a Mac or iPhone developer? TUAW job boards are here! (TUAW.com)

Nov 3rd 2009 3:38PM This issue will be resolved shortly. We had an international data center that wasn't being routed properly, so if you were hitting that server, you'd get nadda.

Thanks *tremendously* for all the feedback guys. It would have been very hard for us to trace if it wasn't for the generosity of the readers here.

It'll be up for everyone soon :)
