HTC Hero caught running Android 2.1? (Engadget)

Nov 29th 2009 6:47PM As much as I like Android, the firmware situation is a royal mess. Let's see versions 1.0, 1.5, 1.6, 2.0, and 2.1 all are available... each on a different phone with a different feature set. Google patent keeps airwaves competitive by selecting the cheapest (Engadget)

Sep 28th 2008 12:57PM I'm betting on the same kind of competition you see at the gas pump.
