Engadget's recession antidote: win a Sonos Multi-Room Music System Bundle 150 (Engadget)

Apr 29th 2009 3:31PM I'd save the world economy by bringing more happiness. I'd start the happiness in my house, with my brand new multi-room music system. After that, I'll see where the winds of fate take me...

A better App Store (TUAW.com)

Aug 6th 2008 6:08PM Yes, at the time of release of the first product, it would have been difficult to compare. But only a fraction of users are buying a product the second it comes out. For most of us, we have the choice of Files and FileMagnet at this exact moment in time. So comparing the two would be useful.

TUAW Review: Dreamweaver CS4 beta (TUAW.com)

May 29th 2008 8:01PM Is it just me, or did this review read more like a commercial for Coda than a review of Dreamweaver CS4?

Save a tree with Greenprint (Download Squad)

Apr 25th 2007 2:58PM Err. What's wrong with the print preview command, then selecting which pages to use? Cheaper than $35.

The iPod connects to a series of tubes (TUAW.com)

Apr 18th 2007 12:39PM I'd be interested in hearing how it affects standard mp3s, too. If the complaint is they sound digital and stiff, then some good tubes would clear that right up, right? In theory?

Apple releases Boot Camp 1.2 with Windows Vista support (TUAW.com)

Mar 29th 2007 11:50AM Does anyone know if this fixes the keyboard brightness / volume controls?

Nokia shows off 5500 "sports phone" (Engadget Mobile)

May 10th 2006 4:58PM Some nice features -- I like the ideas of the workout database and pedometer (will it work in your pocket?)

But my gym not only bans the use of cameraphones, but any cell phone except in designated "lounge" areas. No distractions in the workout area. Or so the rules state... I don't know how much it's enforced. I'm sure some gyms enforce it, though.

Real people speak out about Wii [Update 1] (Joystiq)

Apr 29th 2006 8:29AM This is funny, but not a good way of conducting the survey. The word "Nintendo" is pretty ubiquitous at this point -- if you'd have asked people about the "Nintendo Wii" rather than just showing the logo (which will probably for quite a while, at least at first, always be connected with the word "Nintendo" while they build Wii's brand equity), the responses would have been far different.

Do I like the name? No, I agree with 99% of everyone and think it's stupid. But I doubt Nintendo is going to just throw the name out there by itself -- it'll be attached to "Nintendo" which will give it instant recognition as some sort of gaming device.

Apple's stock looks down, loses balance (TUAW.com)

Feb 7th 2006 6:01AM Be careful when investing in companies you're a fan of. It can cloud your thinking into an artificial halo effect. I wouldn't go to an Apple site for stock tips about Apple. ;)
