Stefan Eriksson charged with multiple counts (Engadget)

Apr 17th 2006 6:28PM This post was worth reading just for the phrase "Los Angelean Swede".

Of course, even if Erikkson is proven to be the driver, he'll be let off the hook. Seeing a rich person get convicted in L.A. is rarer than Jesus' second coming.

Popcorn 2 goes Universal (TUAW.com)

Apr 12th 2006 5:01PM It won't work with store-bought DVDs, but there is a universal version of Mac the Ripper available, which will take care of that problem. But this is great news. I can now rip and burn DVDs on my Macbook Pro without any slowdown.

Gmail adds "Send Mail As" option (Download Squad)

Aug 26th 2005 5:10PM If you want to receive e-mail from other accounts, set up those accounts so messages are automatically forwarded to your Gmail account. That's what I did with my POP e-mail, and it works great. If you want, you can even create a filter in Gmail so messages from a certain POP account will have a special label applied to mark them as such.

What would you do for a Mac? (TUAW.com)

Aug 18th 2005 1:28PM Sure, I'd pee on myself for an iBook.

DMB encourages Windows users to bypass the DRM (TUAW.com)

Aug 17th 2005 7:10PM Here's an idea: How about if Dave Matthews "reaches out" to his recording company and tells them "If you use DRM, we're moving to another label"? I'm so sick of musicians and bands blaming everyone but themselves for their own lack of effort.
