Sep 16th 2006 1:41AM Most *nix commands are only two letters, like ls, mv, cp, ps, etc. If a *nix user has to add options all the time or the command is really long, they just make an alias.

The reason I use a command line interface on Mac OS X is because if I can do it, I can automate it. That is, commands can be stored as a script. Very handy.

Nov 29th 2005 11:44AM Whaaaat! I have to *PAY* for an upgrade?!? Sheesh. They didn't even increment the first version number! This is ridiculous. Why is it software vendors think they can add a couple features and force people to re-buy software they already own?!! When I buy software I expect it to last at least 15 years. This is highway robbery!
