Within MONTHS this was not only not true, but artists were, without warning, cut off from adding OR DELETING material from their pages on the site. Multiple emails and posted complaints on their forum have fallen on deaf ears, with the best response being, 'you'll get back your ability to edit your page soon' -- back in 2004.

mp3.com, basically the same thing happened, but I was allowed to delete my page within the site.

There has GOT to be a business structure for music that allows musicians to not have to give away their product. Remember, next time you listen to music, that very very few musicians have even basic health care.
