Sorry mom, I put linux on your computer, you can browse, but no longer can you play dvd's because xine isn't licensed to play them. Don't be cheap on mom, upgrade her Windows 98 machine with some ram, and a fresh copy of XP home. Leave all the "free" unsupported crap for those techies who like to "play around" with software instead of use it for functioning purposes.
