Symantec kills off Sygate Firewall (Download Squad)

Nov 26th 2005 7:40PM Well for those lookign for an excellent free anti-virus program there is the alternative of AVG. I have been using both AVG and Sygate Personal Firewall Pro. They both do a VERY good job. But now with the closing down of the Sygate line, guess it'll just be AVG for me. AVG also has some great products you can pay for, although I find their free version for reliable. For anyone interested, there are many reviews. One such review may be found at Cnet Download.com. So if you're after an alternative, i'd definately be lookign closely at AVG. Great product, and most of all, it's free!!! :D.
