Launchy - Today's Free File (Download Squad)
Mar 20th 2006 10:04AM Another thing to note is how fast Launchy has grown. It's gone through two different versions in the span of a month and its appearance has grown SIGNIFICANTLY! It really is an excellent application. I'm a sucker for new apps so my Start Menu takes at least 5 seconds to come up full now and Launchy helps out alot.
Make Windows 3.1 like XP (Download Squad)
Mar 7th 2006 8:15AM Funny, I NEVER have a problem with long filenames OR dragging and dropping contents in Windows anymore. Considering, though, that these comments came from the large group of Mac OS X operators at DownloadSquad, I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
Vista, Build 5308 (Download Squad)
Feb 23rd 2006 1:51PM Well, I haven't slept but that's only because I haven't even been able to find it. lol.
FileZilla - Quirky UI, Solid FTP (Download Squad)
Nov 22nd 2005 2:15PM Yes, excellent recommendation. Filezilla has been rock-solid for me for about a year. There are two things I don't like, though, and they're pretty big faults for heavy FTP users: 1) You can't drag something out of Filezilla into a Windows Explorer window and 2) You can't have multiple sessions...you can only be connected to one site at a time. These two problems are apparently going to be fixed for Filezilla 3 which is supposed to be out soon.
