Jun 22nd 2008 11:45AM Hi Pete. I'm one of the developers. Twitabit is built on the store and forward posting technology of switchAbit. This technology is designed to be tolerant of disruptive networks and also play nicely when availability returns. There is a configurable throttle per queue.
Btw, any developer can use the switchAbit post engine. Here's a link to the Twitter compatible api.
