Apr 26th 2007 3:45PM @ ph: You've got it backwards, the PS3 has the RSX graphics card in it with 256mb of VRAM, whereas the 360 has 512mb of RAM that's being shared by both the processor and the on-board graphics chips. Not to mention the fact that each core of the Cell processor has a small amount of RAM that it can use. Technically, the PS3 has a much better chance of delivering better performance, it's up to the developers to deliver on the promise. If Sony provides good documentation then we could see the PS3 coming out with games that kick the crap out of 360 games within the next year or two. Especially if they release a revised version of the PS3 that has a faster Blu-Ray drive in it, allowing for much faster transfer speeds and shorter load times without game content installation to the hard drive.

Apr 26th 2007 2:26PM Considering you can capture video to the PS3 hard drive, low light capabilities and edit movies with the software, I'm guessing that PS3 Home is going to be a flood of screenings of people's homemade porn. Wonderful. *rolls eyes loudly* Remind me to never step into Home if I ever get a PS3.

Jan 23rd 2007 9:08AM You see, this article is just not true. PS3 in Japan is already down to the equivalent of $329USD. And that's the country that's supposed to buy it regardless of whether or not there are any games for it (which Sony is obviously testing in full but not having as good of luck as they thought). Oops.
