Official Twitter app updated for iPad (TUAW.com)

Sep 2nd 2010 1:21PM Ok so if I tap on a tweet (on purpose or accident) it opens a bunch of stuff to the side... great.. but also that tweet is now selected/highlighted and if I scroll up/down that tweet sticks to the top or bottom of the screen. No big deal I can see how that can be useful... but.. how the freaking hell do I de-select it?? Do I seriously have to go to another tab like mentions/lists just to de-select a tweet??

Metareview - Burnout Paradise (PS3, Xbox 360) (Joystiq)

Jan 27th 2008 7:33PM Wish I could at least play it.. on my 360 after putting the disk in the screen goes black and it locks up. :( Guess I'll be sending it off to be fixed, again..

Sharing stuff through Google (Download Squad)

Sep 20th 2007 7:43PM I just noticed that if you share a link and it's a link you already had saved in your Google Bookmarks, and you had tags applied to that bookmark it'll apply those tags to the link you are sharing. I'm not sure if there is a way to edit tags once you've saved the link though.

Moore: Don't focus on Xbox 360 failure, focus on repair (Joystiq)

May 16th 2007 4:23PM Mine died after only 2 months, and on my first call to support after jumping through hoops for the voice prompter & half way through giving my information to some guy with a bad attitude I get disconnected! I have hardware from Sony that is still working after 14 years, yet my Xbox 360 couldn't last 2 months. Oh and when I called back, the 2nd support guy I talked to was an asshat also.

AT&T gives in to unlimited messaging trend, too (Engadget Mobile)

Apr 25th 2007 2:21PM The change is only for personal accounts from what I hear, and not for business accounts... which really sucks for people like me who are stuck with a phone provided by the company I work for. There's no way in hell I'll ever convince them to let us have text messaging again unless we can get an unlimited plan. To the Web 2.0 sites out there that use SMS to verify accounts etc, not everyone has SMS, some companies are cheap asses... What really sucks is working for a company that can't even begin to comprehend why anyone would need txt messaging in the first place... it's like trying to explain your cell phone & the internet to your great grandmother...

Google Notebook sidebar for Firefox (Download Squad)

Apr 25th 2007 1:46PM My Google Notebook doesn't seem to be stuck with a small window... it has a little arrow pointing up and to the right, "pop out", click that and I have a large window I can maximize or minimize. The only problem is I can't sort notes by dragging them to folders like on the main page... Which brings me to one point. Google uses "labels" in GMail, "tags" in Google Reader, and folder trees in Google Notebook... can't we just stick with ONE way of organizing things? Also Google Bookmarks uses labels (tags) to organize what I save, it would really be nice if I could organize my notes the same way.

Easily access your photo's EXIF data (Download Squad)

Feb 8th 2007 10:10AM @SigTill

Can't you do that with Google's Picasa?

See here: http://www.ogleearth.com/2006/06/picasa_google_e.html
or

(The comments here state that it modifies the exif-data) and it's free...

Just go to (Tools,Geotag,Geotag With Google Earth...)

Jan 11th 2007 7:01PM Yeah I hate to say it but I agree TrueBlue, that picture looks pretty blocky & overcompressed.
